Dynamic Connections implementation

Dynamic Connections implementation

Originally created server settings in DW Manage Sites. Decided to create a Dynamic Connection using the wizard. Updated the include file on one page, but getting multiple errors.

What is the proper procedure for pointing to the new file? Tried naming it the same thing, and also editing the include file, but major errors result either way.
Should I keep the old connection file also, or should it be deleted?
Should the server settings in DW Manage Sites be deleted?
How do you test the additional connections in the Wizard?
How does this work with all the pages that are already uploaded to a remote server?

Both the new and old connection files are attached.

Below are some of the errors:

Notice: Undefined variable: database_ProductsDb in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/website.com/Prod_results.php on line 101
Notice: Undefined variable: ProductsDb in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/website.com/Prod_results.php on line 101
Warning: mysql_select_db() expects parameter 2 to be resource, null given in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/website.com/Prod_results.php on line 101
Notice: Undefined variable: ProductsDb in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/website.com/Prod_results.php on line 105
Warning: mysql_query() expects parameter 2 to be resource, null given in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/website.com/Prod_results.php on line 105

In addition, I'm also getting a 'headers not sent' error that I wasn't getting before (only on localhost):

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/website.com/Connections/ProductsDb.php:9) in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/website.com/Prod_results.php on line 211

When will this one be resolved?

Thanks

Usually you could delete the old connection on your local machine and then create a dynamic connection with the same name and then upload it.

Since you used the same name, no other files would need to be updated.

The errors you are seeing are probably because you changed the connection name and your scripts are now out of sync. Try deleting the connections and then creating the dynamic connection with the same name as the one you are replacing.

The new file has been created and uploaded to the remote server, but receiving the following error (website names omitted):

Fatal error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /services/webpages/util/p/j/pjeq5yzb.attwebspace.com/website.com/public/website/Connections/ProductsDb.php on line 25

Our ISP has used the credentials listed on the file (not the file itself) to connect successfully.

FTP credentials are in PM if needed.

Dynamic Connection File attached.

Your dynamic connection was set up to work with a different domain. I updated the domain to match the url and it works properly now. It will use the localhost connection unless it recognizes an alternative connection based on the domain.

Trying to access the Connections file you corrected.

Tried to view the Connections file source code through ISP control panel, but the Connections file has been replaced with an odd 'WebsiteOS Preferences' file I've never seen before, and can't open.

Opened the remote Connections file through DW Files panel, making sure not to overwrite the local file, but it looks the same as the old local file.

The page you sent before opens for me when I try. Are you going to the same URLs as me? (see private message)

Can't find the file you revised. In the ISP control panel directory, the file that's there is the original credentials that were set up by the ISP; not your DynConn file with both local and remote credentials.

When I access the remote servers through DW there's a DynConn file in there, but it's the same file as my old, original file that didn't work.

Both files are in PM

Just change the line:
$domains = explode(",","primrose.com");

to:
$domains = explode(",","tommcbrideinc.com");

That is odd... I just downloaded the version from your server and it was updated. Are you looking in the /primrose/Connections/ folder?
