isset issue

Hi I am trying to write an IF condition to see if a directory on server exists based on one of the values in my form post. however I get the following error:

Notice: Undefined index: productbrand in C:\xampp\htdocs\armadillo\admin\product-create.php on line 112

Here is m cost:

php:
<?php

if (!file_exists('../images/products/' ."" .strtolower(isset($_POST["productbrand"]))?$_POST["productbrand"]:"")) {

...

}
?>

obviously on page load, the form value for 'productbrand' wont exist until I click on the submit button, hence why I need to write a ISSET statement...do I need to put the ISSET at the beginning just after IF ?

Chris

there is a syntax error on this line:
if (isset("productbrand") && !file_exists('../images/products/' .strtolower($_POST["productbrand"]))) {

Fatal error: Cannot use isset() on the result of an expression (you can use "null !== expression" instead) in C:\xampp\htdocs\armadillo\admin\brand-create.php on line 29

I've corrected the issue in the previous post.
