link triggers

Hey Ray

Been searching for ages to see how (or even if) this can be done and would really appreciate any input you may have please?

Basically I have this results page where the results lead to product items.

<div class="container resultsWrapper">
<a href="shop/<?php echo($Categories->getColumnVal("CatPermalink")); ?>/<?php echo($Categories->getColumnVal("ProdPermalink")); ?>" class="responsive-picture resultsImageNoOpcaity foo">

<?php if ("".($Categories->getColumnVal("ProductImage")) !="noimage") { ?>
<img alt="Placeholder Picture" src="./images/products/<?php echo($Categories->getColumnVal("ProductImage")); ?>" width="280" height="280">
<?php } else { ?>
<img alt="Placeholder Picture" src="./images/cms_icons/no-image.jpg" width="280" height="280">
<?php } ?>

<?php if ("".($Categories->getColumnVal("ProductImageS1")) !="noimage") { ?>
<img alt="Placeholder Picture" src="./images/products/<?php echo($Categories->getColumnVal("ProductImageS1")); ?>" width="280" height="280">
<?php } else { ?>
<img alt="Placeholder Picture" src="./images/cms_icons/no-image.jpg" width="280" height="280">
<?php } ?>
</a>

<a class="link-text resultsTitle" href="shop/<?php echo($Categories->getColumnVal("CatPermalink")); ?>/<?php echo($Categories->getColumnVal("ProdPermalink")); ?>"><?php echo($Categories->getColumnVal("ProductName")); ?></a></div>

As you can see there is an image area acting as a link (and this is a swap image using css) as well as an <a href> acting as a link to the same target as the image.

What I am trying to do is that when a visitor hovers over either the image or the <a href> it triggers the on state of the other element. So, for example, if you hover over the image not only does the swap image trigger, but also the active state of the <a href> and vice versa

Thanks in advance

Jamie

You can write javascript using the onmouseover event that does anything. It would just have to be written by hand. I could help with that in a premier support ticket.
