Forgotten Password Email Faild to Send

I have a forgotten password page that has been working fine, we have moved to a new shared host and the page has stopped working.

The error that I am getting is: Email failed to send. Please confirm your email settings with your hosting provider.

What could be causing it please?

I'll need FTP access to debug it. It could be an issue connecting to the database or something with the SMTP server.

It appears to be a configuration issue on your server. You will have to talk to your hosting provider to get it fixed.

I created a simple mail page called mailtest.php you can use to see if it is fixed and give to your hosting provider to simply demonstrate your problem.
