Image rotation

Some of my images need to be rotated once they have been uploaded. The images that are portrait size are being turned on their side and are being rendered as landscape. How do I fix that? Do I have to change something in the code? TIA

Images taken from phones can have issues like this. The images are stored sideways and the phone merely displays them properly based on some tags. I could probably write some code to look for those images and automatically rotate them. Is this with product images when inserting into powerstore?

Please send me a sample image you are having difficulty with and I'll do some testing with it here to see if I can get it fixed.

Here is an updated file that should correct this problem. Just replace the file at: /webassist/file_manipulation/helperphp.php with the one I have attached to this thread and it should automatically rotate iphone images when necessary.

I updated the file but nothing happened.

I'm not sure if it's actually working or if it's a cache issue, because I made some changes to my CSS files and can't see those changes either!

It will only fix new products and images. The ones you already uploaded will still have the problem.

Oh I see. So how do I fix the other ones? Do I need to add the photos again?

I got this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12096 bytes) in /hermes/bosnaweb14a/b1855/ywh.cosmic/webassist/file_manipulation/helperphp.php on line 117

Is the original file too large?
