discount coupon by link

Hi Ray,

I'd like to offer customers a discount on a particular product range defined eg.brand or group

At the moment, when landing on the site, the coupon value is retrieved from the db and assigned to a session variable.

What would be the rule in the cart to only apply the discount to items with a brand or group id and ignore any other items in the cart

Thanks again for your help

Cheers

You would probably have to write some custom code on the cart page that will get the total fo the brand or group based on the couponid and store the coupon total value in the session based on the result. I could help with something like this in a premier support ticket.
