Neither one of these should effect the code we use.

My PayPal connection has suddenly dropped... maybe it's related as PayPal are upgrading their APIs ?

I just get the checkout_failure page when trying to place an order via eCart...

If you send me FTP details and a url to reproduce I'll debug it and let you know why it is failing. The information you sent is about API certificate credentials and we use the signature method, so it is unrelated.

Where is your server located? This appears to be a DNS issue on paypal's part. They will probably get it resolved soon.

In the meantime I've updated your paypal include file to use the IP address instead of the domain name for their server and it is working correctly now. However, paypal does update their IP address semi-regularly and without notice, so you should go back to using the domain once it starts working again.

I made the change on line 512 of: /WA_eCart/PP_ECO_Scripts/PP_ECO_PHP.php

Wow thanks Ray you're a star.

I have a managed dedicated server with a reliable company here in the UK.
