Help to update a record from a details page (rather than update page)

Help to update a record from a details page (rather than update page)

[Sorry - meant to post this in the DA section.]

The scenario is that I would like to have a form / button that allows people to confirm some details are still up-to-date from a details page rather than an update page. The idea is that it updates LastUpdatedFirstname and LastUpdatedLastname fields only, and the LastUpdated timestamp field would also update.

But it seems slightly complicated by the fact that the details page has the ID of a different table to the one that would be updated.

Details below.

Can I get FTP access to debug... my only guess is that the recordset isn't returning a ProfileID for this account, but I'd have to debug to be sure.

The ProfileID is supposed to be coming from a table named product_profiles WHERE LodgeID = 1655... but there is no such row in that table.

Not sure what happened there - was sure there was a record when I looked at it first.

Have added a row to that table now - so the output you created now shows a record with a ProfileID of 2698.

Did you change anything else? Trying it now, it looks like its working OK on the page below. Which is good, but weird, as I'm sure it wasn't before.

No I didn't change anything else... but it does appear to work now. I can see the hidden field has the ID value.
