Asp VBScript eCart to PHP eCart6 ?

Hi,

I want to make my webshop (eCart4) responsive. Since I have to redesign the whole site, I was thinking of updating to eCart6.
But then I also have to change from ASP to PHP.
Any proposal how to approach this best ?

Kind Regards,
Yam.

There is no real way to simply change an ASP site to PHP. You could certainly transition and use the same database structure and html, javascript, and css, but you say you are doing a complete redesign, so I'm not sure what if anything you would want to keep in the transition anyway.

Is it possible to connect a ms access database with php ?

Not with our extensions. You should be able to easily export the database from MS Access as SQL and import it into MySQL. MySQL is a far superior database and Access was never really meant for use on the web. I'd suggest moving to MySQL even if you could somehow use Access.
