File Download Failure in Edge

I have a setup Databridge (latest version) file download page to download various files that are reserved for those logged in. When downloading PDF's in Microsoft Edge, the download fails about half the time showing the full page that starts out with "HTTP/1.1 200 OK Pragma: no-cache Content-Length: 618398 Content-Type: application/octet-stream Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/8.0 X-Powered-By: PHP/5.6.17 Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=filename.pdf" and then the rest of the page is gibberish...

"=«CY ò%ž¾à²þcÅZÚ*ÒšÞdø(šzMO%ÑYvÔµÞ&Pz›[M¿™ì8²Kdô~:¼8R<¶øÑÄKÚ¸ a'åb#vþñgÙ¬ä±Û=;›%F;xøõ«ÛѸ˜þ£'¹’ŽæÞt"

This only fails in Edge... not Chrome, Firefox, or even Explorer. Have there been other similar issues with Edge?

Can I get the url to reproduce the problem and a copy of the page you are using for the download? I'll take a look and see if I can spot the problem.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

I actually stumbled on a solution to this one. The download behavior was on a page called download.php. I was going to create a copy and remove the security so you could access the URL so I changed the name to downloadfile.php. I tested downloadfile.php, and it worked in Edge 100%. My immediate thought was that securityassist was the culprit but after further testing, that wasn't the issue either. It completely had to do with the name of the file as download.php. It could either be a conflict with Edge or it just dawned on me that it could possibly be Kaspersky causing an issue. It only happened in Edge however. Anyway, thank you for the reply.
