re: HTMLEditor - - Cannot select MySQL database table in File Manager from Site Settings - AGAIN!

Once again I am trying to create a new PHP website to interface with a MySQL dB. I cannot get the Site Settings/FIle Manager UI to select the database table I want. The Connection has been successfully made but the UI screen will not allow me to select the desired dB table I want. This has happened before but I do not recall what your suggested corrective step was to fix this. I am attaching the affected webpage.

I'm having a hard time understanding what the issue is. Can I get a screen shot of the UI that isn't allowing you to select the database table? That will probably clear it up for me. Since the issue is in Dreamweaver I don't think looking at the page will do me any good.

Using Dreamweaver CS6 on an 15" Macbook Pro Retina with OS X 10.11.13. The issue seems to be a malfunction of Data Bridge's HTMLEditor?

Is that a standard MySQL connection? The File Manager doesn't work with MySQLi connections... that might be the issue.

Well no wonder!

My host provider had upgraded to PHP 6.x - will a Dreamweaver-created standard connection script work or must it at least be a mysqli connection script? (See the examples included in the private message)

Just create a new MySQL connection using the same credentials and select it from that UI and it should work. Let us know if you have any problems.

Using a conventional connection worked! Thanks.
