Order that Field Validate and two types of validation per field

I have created a form which I am validating with server side validation.

After checking that all of the standard form functions were working I then wanted to add a retype password for field.

I have tried to add two different types of validation, one that says "you must retype your password" and one that says "passwords dont match"

Firstly, is this possible?

Secondly, this validation happens after the original last field in the form despite this form field being entered in as the fourth field down on the form.

Can I manipulate the order that the form is validated in?

Many Thanks

I have managed to solve this.

That is great to hear, was there something in the interface that was not intuitive for making these changes? Please let us know if there is an issue you were experiencing with the tool that might help us improve the product.

Hi Eric

The first thing that would have helped me would have been to have a list of the different validations on that page with an up/down arrow to change the order that they appear in.

Alternatively a pdf "how to" with regard to what to change in the code so that you can change the order the validation occurs in, ie that in code view there are numbers in the script and in the code that can be changed into a sequential order.

I think the thing that caused me the most problems was the fact that I added a form field after I had setup the validation and thats why it wasn't in the correct sequence.

On a slightly different subject but still related, another thing thing that would be good to add to the "add CSS to form validation" would be what to do when adding two types of validation to one field (as in my example above) as at present I can only get the background to change colour for one form of validation due to the duplicate class="" statement

Thank you for the feedback on this, it is exactly the type of thing that we can use to help us improve the CSS Form Builder. I will make sure that this gets to the rite people.
