Get the MySQL ID of record insertion

Hello,
How do we return the record id of an auto-incremented Insert record with MySQLi Insert behavior?

...
...
...
$InsertQuery->execute();
// added mysql_insert_id to catch insertion #
$last_id = mysqli_insert_id($wildwater_i);
$last_id2 = $mysqli->insert_id;
$InsertGoTo = "";
if (function_exists("rel2abs")) $InsertGoTo = $InsertGoTo?rel2abs($InsertGoTo,dirname(__FILE__)):"";
$InsertQuery->redirect($InsertGoTo);
}
?>

This is not working in either case tested so maybe a clash with WA function?

FYI if you append ANYTHING into the MySQLi Insert routine DW goes into a beachball loop that times out until you stop the process :-(

Yes, you should avoid adding code to the end of a code chunk like that. It will also break inspection. It is best to find a way to add the necessary code below using the same IF statement.

The session created in the insert wizard worked for me.
