Form field values when some validation fails

Thread began 2/09/2016 9:34 am by iain331081 | Last modified 2/09/2016 10:03 am by Ray Borduin | 519 views | 1 replies |

Form field values when some validation fails

I have a form with some validation to check the width of images before the form submits.

When the form fails because the images are too large, the text fields become blank, rather than retain whatever was entered.

I thought they should look like this:

<input id="update_title" name="update_title" type="text" value="<?php echo((isset($_GET["invalid"])?ValidatedField("Add_News","update_title"):"")); ?>" tabindex="1" onBlur="hideServerError('update_title_ServerError');" title="Please enter a title." required="true">

When I select the form field and click on the lightning icon in the properties next to Value, the only options are recordset values, rather than form values.

Can I see a copy of the page you are working on? I'll have to see how it works to figure out what needs to be done.
