update deleting contents!

Hi

I'm having a really weird problem! I'm trying to do a simple update using MySQL_i and after pressing the button, all the page data is erased!

I've tried this on several new pages (the existing ones work fine) and on two separate computers (with the same results).

On previous attempts, Session values weren't being retained and other weird things happened.

Is there something obvious? Has my site been hacked in some way? Completely out of ideas!

Many thanks
Chris

I don't see an obvious issue. It could be something with the session variables not being stored or referenced properly. I don't think your site was hacked... there are no signs of that.

You do realize your form action is pointing to a different page right? a-pages_Update.php

That is the page where the code is running. Maybe you wanted the action to be set to the current page? That might explain the problem... the update code on this page wouldn't even be running.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Thanks Ray - missing the ******* obvious again!

That form works properly now - other pages I'd tried either didn't have the form action (doesn't seem to be required by the extension) or had the same problem, as the page had been duplicated from a working model, then modified.

Thanks again,

Chris
