Insert server behavior delay

Insert server behavior delay

I apologize for the many questions. But I was wondering if there was a way to stop an insert until something is done. Basically what I am asking is, I have a form that has dropdown where a user chooses a payment plan, so once that user enters their information they are redirected to Paypal to pay for the plan. But if they cancel the payment then the information they submitted is still uploaded into the database. Is there a way to postpone it until the payment has been made?

You would have to use PayPal's IPN service. IPN is a page that paypal sends purchase data to after a sale. You can do your insert on that page. The only other option would be to use eCart and Express Checkout. We could help you with either of these in a premier support ticket.
