Error when saving CSS Menu: updateProgressPanel error

After I click save, I get the following error:

error occurred in updateProgressPanel:
TypeError: statusArea has no properties

Yes, I do have the latest version installed. This happens with both a static and dynamic menu, FYI. After I hit OK for a few times, I get the following message: Error generating menu (wa.generate.menu):
TypeError: document.wholePage.document.StatusArea has no properties.

Thank you.

I deleted my winfilecache.dat file, and now it's working. However, I can't get a dynamic sub-menu to show up correctly. The tutorial doesn't specify how to do this. Can you point me in the right direction?

Update: No, not working yet. I went into the menu to edit it, and I'm still getting the error:

error occurred in updateProgressPanel: TypeError: statusArea has no properties

Thank you.

This is getting ridiculous. I cannot create a dynamic menu without getting a ton of errors. This is everything I'm getting:

Error generating menu (wa.generate.menu):
TypeError: document.wholePage.document.StatusArea has no properties

While executing timer in WA_SiteTools_ProgrsesV2.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.

error occurred in updateProgressPanel:
TypeError: statusArea has no properties

On screen, when I try to view the menu, I get the following:

Notice: Undefined variable: WA_Menu in C:\xampp\htdocs\TDECMS\CSSMenuWriter\cssmw\menu.php on line 37

Fatal error: Call to a member function Initialize() on null in C:\xampp\htdocs\TDECMS\CSSMenuWriter\cssmw\menu.php on line 37

So, I am going to attach menu.php.

I am simply trying to create 2 levels of menus which are related by a shared field.

Thank you.

I see the Recordsets aren't being applied properly. Do you have the Deprecated Server Behaviors extension installed? If not, that is probably the cause.

I've tested and it appears to be working for me, so if you do already have the Deprecated Server Behaviors extension installed I'll probably have to debug with you over the phone. Please post a US phone number or Skype contact information in the private area of a reply and I'll call to debug it with you.

We reinstalled and created a new menu in a connect meeting and it appears to be working. Let me know if the problem occurs again.

Ray, I just edited the menu, and added a 3rd level deep menu, and now I'm receiving errors when trying to save it.

error occurred in updateProgressPanel:
TypeError: statusArea has no properties.

Sigh... :/

I deleted the win cache file, and it's running without errors now, but will not display the 3rd menu. I checked the database and there are shared records between the menu 2 and menu 3 tables.

I'm also getting this error message again:Error generating menu (wa.generate.menu):TypeError: document.wholePage.document.StatusArea has not properties.

I tried removing the 3rd menu, but it still wouldn't update. Whatever I do at this point, it will not update the menu.

FYI, I am NOT using the page where there was a stylesheet conflict. I am using the blank page with nothing else on it.

It appears there may be issues with editing a menu multiple times during the same session. We worked around it by restarting Dreamweaver in between, but I'll look into getting it fixed.
