WA Dynamic Drop Downs doesn't work MySQLi

Hi,

I have the extension WA Dynamic Dropdowns, however when I am trying to apply it to my page I'm told that I have no Recordsets on the page.

I am now using the MySQLi extension to manage Recordsets so presume there is an issue with this extension and WA Dynamic Dropdowns. Surely there must be a workaround for this - is the alternative to use DW's normal Recordset Server Behavior? That doesn't seem right to me as I should either be using PDO or MySQLi??

Can someone please advise?

Thanks
Nick

There is no work around currently. You can still create a MySQL recordset and use the extension, but we don't have a MySQLi version working yet.

Users have successfully edited the code once applied to update it to MySQLi... to do that get it working with MySQL standard recordsets and then there are just a few lines that need to be updated manually to make it MySQLi and then you can remove your old recordsets.

Hi Ray,

That's what I've done. It'd be great if you could get that working with MySQLi as it just makes things so much easier.

Cheers
