Am trying to get this to work but cannot get the RS correct.

Am looking to shjow 'From' if te the product item has an option associated with it.

<?php if ($Categories->getColumnVal("OptionGroupID")) { ?>
From
<?php } ?>

This is the RS

<?php
$Categories = new WA_MySQLi_RS("Categories",$DBConnection,0);
$Categories->setQuery("SELECT productcategories.CategoryName, productcategories.CatPermalink, productcategories_2.CategoryName AS parentcategoryname, productcategories_2.CatPermalink AS parentpermalink, products.*, productmanufacturers.ManufacturerName, options.* FROM productcategories LEFT OUTER JOIN productcategories AS productcategories_2 ON productcategories.CategoryParentID = productcategories_2.CategoryID LEFT OUTER JOIN products ON productcategories.CategoryID = products.ProductCategoryID LEFT OUTER JOIN productmanufacturers ON products.ProductManufacturerID = productmanufacturers.ManufacturerID INNER JOIN options ON products.ProductID = options.OptionGroupID WHERE productcategories.Live = 1 AND productcategories.CatPermalink = ? AND products.ProductLive = 1 ORDER BY productcategories.CategoryOrder ASC");
$Categories->bindParam("s", "".$_GET["perm"] ."", "-1"); //WAQB_Param1
$Categories->execute();
?>

How this is set currently is stopping any items from being returned let alone not adding From if appropriate

You have:
INNER JOIN options ON products.ProductID = options.OptionGroupID

It should be something like:
INNER JOIN options ON products.ProductID = options.OptionProductID

Jamie

ok, have tried that

<?php
$Categories = new WA_MySQLi_RS("Categories",$DBConnection,0);
$Categories->setQuery("SELECT productcategories.CategoryName, productcategories.CatPermalink, productcategories_2.CategoryName AS parentcategoryname, productcategories_2.CatPermalink AS parentpermalink, products.*, productmanufacturers.ManufacturerName, options.* FROM productcategories LEFT OUTER JOIN productcategories AS productcategories_2 ON productcategories.CategoryParentID = productcategories_2.CategoryID LEFT OUTER JOIN products ON productcategories.CategoryID = products.ProductCategoryID LEFT OUTER JOIN productmanufacturers ON products.ProductManufacturerID = productmanufacturers.ManufacturerID INNER JOIN options ON products.ProductID = options.OptionProductID WHERE productcategories.Live = 1 AND productcategories.CatPermalink = ? AND products.ProductLive = 1 ORDER BY productcategories.CategoryOrder ASC");
$Categories->bindParam("s", "".$_GET["perm"] ."", "-1"); //WAQB_Param1
$Categories->execute();
?>

and it errors saying unknown column as per http://clients.motley.site/sewards/shop/beds/bedsteads
in the db, there is no row for OptionProductID in the options table.....so I tried it with OptionID and I get the same result as with OptionGroupID (which is no results)

You probably have to join the options groups table first.
It should be something like:

LEFT OUTER JOIN optiongroups ON products.ProductID = options.OptionProductID LEFT OUTER JOIN options ON options.OptionGroupID = optiongroups.OptionGroupID

sorry, am still getting an unknown column error

rs has been updated to

<?php
$Categories = new WA_MySQLi_RS("Categories",$DBConnection,0);
$Categories->setQuery("SELECT productcategories.CategoryName, productcategories.CatPermalink, productcategories_2.CategoryName AS parentcategoryname, productcategories_2.CatPermalink AS parentpermalink, products.*, productmanufacturers.ManufacturerName, options.* FROM productcategories LEFT OUTER JOIN productcategories AS productcategories_2 ON productcategories.CategoryParentID = productcategories_2.CategoryID LEFT OUTER JOIN products ON productcategories.CategoryID = products.ProductCategoryID LEFT OUTER JOIN productmanufacturers ON products.ProductManufacturerID = productmanufacturers.ManufacturerID LEFT OUTER JOIN optiongroups ON products.ProductID = options.OptionProductID LEFT OUTER JOIN options ON options.OptionGroupID = optiongroups.OptionGroupID WHERE productcategories.Live = 1 AND productcategories.CatPermalink = ? AND products.ProductLive = 1 ORDER BY productcategories.CategoryOrder ASC");
$Categories->bindParam("s", "".$_GET["perm"] ."", "-1"); //WAQB_Param1
$Categories->execute();
?>

LEFT OUTER JOIN optiongroups ON products.ProductID = optiongroups.OptionProductID LEFT OUTER JOIN options ON options.OptionGroupID = optiongroups.OptionGroupID

It is difficult because I don't have your database and am guessing column names.
