admin panel - content - image upload not working

I am not able to upload images using the cms editor for content edits on my pages - It was working and now recently has stopped

When i select to add an image to a content area, the pop up opens, i select browse url, the new window opens to navigate to images on the server or upload a file but the page is blank and the only message is" page loading...

i can edit text no problem

You must have recently updated the server to use https:// for the image browser. I updated the page to work with https, so it should be working now.
