The file upload has been working for years and suddenly stopped working.

The file upload has been working for years and suddenly stopped working on any server. Nothing happens, the file just does not get uploaded. I can no longer view the function dialog box within dreamweaver either. I am using .asp. The page not working is at https://www.libertylabs.com/TTNet10/Upload_employee.asp. Also attached. Thank you.

I haven't looked at ASP code in years. I can see your form element reference is set to "Upload" but your form field is named "upload"... I'm not sure if that could be an issue.

I'd really need FTP access and a URL to look into it any further. If you send that over I can try to do a quick test or two and try to debug it with you.

I can't seem to get in with the ftp information you provided. Please test it and make sure there are no typos.

You could probably recreate this page using PHP since it doesn't use the database it should be possible to run some .asp and some .php pages on the same site.

The FTP still isn't working for me. Is it possible you have an IP address restriction?

IT appears to be an issue with the function: InstrB always returning 1 even when that isn't the correct value.

A search of the web found others with the same problem: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/34181411/uploading-a-file-in-classic-asp

It has been a decade since I've worked with classic ASP, so I'm afraid I can't do much with it. Hopefully the user comments on that forum will help you.
