I'd add a column to the shopping cart for TaxRate... then add a calculation to the cart for TaxTotal=TaxRate*TotalPrice

Then add a tax rule to the cart to add the total of the column TaxTotal as the amount.

You can put the tax into the category field, or into the product field, or into an associated table for tax. The important thing is that when you add the item to the cart you also add the tax rate associated with that item so that the correct tax amount can be charged.

When you add the tax rule to the cart it should automatically include it in the summary.

In the ecart you have to click the plus button on the tax tab and add the total of the ivaTax calculation as a tax charge. Then it should appear on the page.

Go to the Tax tab and click the plus button.

Give it a name, and add a trigger... you can use: Total number of unique items in the cart > 0

Then for the calculation use: Based on column total and select the lvaToal column.
