Including attachment from a file submitted in a form

Just trying to include an attachment which is the file uploaded in a form.

In the wizard, should I be using:

Enter value > dynamic > value from the form

or

Submitted file

I have tried both, but neither seem to work - so not sure which one it should be.

Thanks.

Looking through the forum, sounds like its the submitted file.

I have attached below the page with the form, and also the WAUE file.

Thanks for having a look.

Found this solution in another thread that seems to work:

In UE Attachment > Entered Value

Paste:

<?php echo $WA_DFP_UploadStatus["WA_UploadResult1"]["serverDirectory"]; ?><?php echo $WA_DFP_UploadStatus["WA_UploadResult1"]["serverFileName"]; ?>

Is that an option in the wizard, or an alternative workaround?

When you use "submitted file" in universal email, that is used in place of the "upload file" server behavior. It will send the attachment directly from the upload without ever storing it on the server.

When using it in conjunction with the "upload file" server behavior you should use the technique you have discovered above.

OK - thanks Ray. Is that an option from the server behaviour wizard, or need to be pasted in?

You would have to specify that in the Universal Email server behavior and remove the file upload server behavior if it was created by the form builder wizard.
