Checkout Continue button does not redirect

Checkout Continue button does not redirect

Hi,

I ran the checkout wizard using the Authorize setup with a bogus login/password in order to change out the payment gateway to Stripe. However just testing the basic function of the checkout pages I found when I click on the continue button the "please wait" appears but it does not show the payment section.

I just wanted to make sure this worked before I initiated the premiere support ticket to make the change to Stripe. This is using eCart 6.1.1.

thx
Eric

The page: member-confirm_cart.php

Seems to have been updated and all of its contents removed. The continue button needs the content on that page to confirm and proceed to the next step.

You will probably have to run the wizard again to regenerate that page correctly.

Thanks Ray. I actually have two carts setup on this site as one is strictly for membership. Both cart_confirm pages do not have content on the pages that the checkout wizard generated. I will run it again to see the results.

One other question - can I have two store summary functions on the confirm page? I know I would need to add the second one but just wanted to make sure that would work. I would like to place the name, address, etc in two separate tables.

thx
Eric

I just ran the wizard again and this is what was produced. See attached.

You can have two store summary server behaviors on a single page without problems.

I'll have to debug the issue with the confirm cart page not generating properly with you. Please post back with a US phone number or skype contact information and I'll do a screen sharing session to figure out what is going wrong.

Thanks Ray. If it works for you we can do the Stripe setup on the same call.

A blank confirm_cart.php page can be caused by running the eCart display manager with a different cart on the same site before running the checkout wizard.

The solution is to create a new blank page and then run the display manager to establish the design settings to use when running the checkout wizard. Once you create the cart display you can just delete the page and then run the checkout wizard again and it will pick up the settings.

Thanks Ray, the Stripe setup is working perfectly on both carts.
I added a second store summary function on the confirm page but it is not inserting the info into the database. I did change the trigger so that is not the issue.

thx
Eric
