clear cart 'button'

Hi Ray

Am using a framework and have created this for the clear cart button:

<a class="glyph headerCartIcons emptyCart" href="#" title="Clear Cart"><i class="icons-cart-remove"></i></a>

so am just wondering how, if it is possible, to 'convert ' the clear cart button that is created in ecart to use the above?

this is the output from ecart

<form name="EShopping_Clear_form_1" method="POST" action="<?php echo $_SERVER["PHP_SELF"];  echo (isset($_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"]) && $_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"] != "")?"?".$_SERVER["QUERY_STRING"]:""; ?>">
<input type="submit" class="eC_FormButton" value="Clear Cart" name="EShopping_Clear_1">
</form>{

There is a clear cart server behavior you can apply to the page and use whatever trigger you want. The default trigger is "button press EShopping_Clear_1" but you can just as easily use a url parameter from a link to trigger the cart clear.

how would i modify it to do that?

Just add a url parameter to your link and then update the trigger to use the $_GET variable.

Jamie

what should the url parameter be?

It doesn't matter... just update the clear cart to trigger off of whatever url parameter you want to us.
