Can't apply sorting to mysqli recordset

Can't apply sorting to mysqli recordset

I am using mysqli and data assist. When I use a mysqli recordset and try to apply the sort behaviour to a table it says I must have a recordset on the page in order to use it. I figured this function would work with mysqli based on this thread from over a year ago - http://www.webassist.com/forums/posts.php?id=34795&login=1&accesscheck=/forums/posts.php?id=34795.

Obviously I don't want to use a standard recordset - that's the reason I bought the mysqli extension.

Is there a way to get this working?

Unfortunately the data bridge sort does not work with MySQLi yet. The only solution currently is to do the sorting manually by adjusting the recordset SQL statement directly. We are still working on updates for Data Bridge to make it fully MySQLi compliant.
