I've seen this happen when the webassist/security_assist/mail_PHP.php file is out of date. Try replacing it with the one I've attached and see if that fixes the problem.

HI Ray - Thanks for you quick response. I replaced the mail_php.php file as you instructed but it did not solve the problem with the "Emai failed to send" error message. It did, however, solve the SecurityAssist error problem and I was able to add the smtp and port number . I am still getting the same "email failed to send", but am receiving the email.

Please provide a url to reproduce the problem and the email address you are using for testing and FTP access. I'll debug it and get it fixed for you.

I see the issue, but I'll still need FTP information to debug and fix it.

What version of SecurityAssist are you using? I sent you the latest version of the mail_php.php page, but looking at your files you still had an older version of webassist/security_assist/helper_php.php so they were out of sync. I've now updated both files to the latest version and the page appears to be functioning properly.

I'd suggest updating to the latest version of Data Bridge if you haven't reinstalled lately.

I am using Data Bridge 1.2.3 I did replace the mail_php.php in both folders on my computer and uploaded them to the server. It is beyond me why the files were not over written.
When i first did the site 3-4 years ago I was using the older version of security assist that's why there is 2 different versions. Wasn't sure if it was safe to remove the old version or not. Thanks much for all you help.
