Changes in authorize.net security

Changes in authorize.net security

We have received an email from Authorize.net telling us that they are updating their https security to SHA-2 hashes, which may require new certificates in order to log in.

We are using ECart to handle all the payment transaction with Authorize.net, so the entire https login is not part of our code but created by ECart.

Will there be an ECart update to address this change in procedure, or how can we make sure that our application will continue to function after Authorize.net have updated their service?

It shouldn't effect eCart users. If you forward the email you got from authorize.net to me I'll double check to make sure.

Yes, I think as long as you are using AIM and taking credit card data from your site there will be no updates necessary.

If you are using SIM, then you may need to get and updated .pem file but the actual php code won't need to be updated.
