enquiry form submission

Hey Ray

Trying to get the attached form to submit to itself to show the 'success' message but on submission it still shows the form rather than the redirect and the form contents are not submitted. Have put a link to the live page in the PM

Just so you know, it is one form but within that form are elements for desktop and mobile which duplicate each other - for instance First_Name. Not sure if that would cause this to be happening?

Any light you can shed on what I have done will be gratefully received :)

Cheers

Jamie

Try changing your triggers to "any form post".

It looks like you are using <button> tags, and not <input type="submit"> so the regular submit button triggers may not work.

perfect got that working, thanks Ray

follow up Q though.

On submission from a mobile device all the fields show except for Town, County and Post Code
and
on submission from desktop the only fields to show are the town, county and post code

Am assuming its to do with the naming of the inputs but am unsure what I should do to fix it?

Have atatched the page for reference if required
Cheers

You should probably have them in two different forms since they function as two different forms. That way they can share the same named form elements and won't have issues with blank values.

sorry to be a pain Ray, but am just trying to re-work the contact form on the simply site to simplify it

basically, all the elements are the same for mobile or desktop now so its the same form on both device types.

having 2 issues though,

1 is that the validation isnt showing

and

2 the form is not being submitted nor is it redirecting back to itself for the success message.

Am close to getting it right just missing something and not figuring out what :(

Have atatched the form page and link to the live page in the PM

Cheers

It looks like one of your other javascript files on the page may be causing a conflict. I see you are getting a javascript error when the page loads, that could be causing issues as well.

I'd start by trying to fix the javascript error on the page and then maybe try removing some of the scripts that might be causing conflicts to narrow it down.
