File Upload

Have attempted to follow "Apply file upload and download" tutorial but keep getting the following error message.
Notice: Undefined index: fileField in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/File Upload/webassist/file_manipulation/helperphp.php on line 72

Notice: Undefined index: upload in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/File Upload/webassist/file_manipulation/helperphp.php on line 72

Notice: Undefined index: upload in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/File Upload/webassist/file_manipulation/helperphp.php on line 72

As you can see I get it three times. Please advise.

Please attach a copy of your file upload form page and I'll take a look.

Upload File

This was done on a Mac.

Thanks Ray,

This is because your submit button is in a separate form than your file upload field. They have to be both contained in the same <form> tag.

Ray,

That doesn't seem to work either. I went through the process again using only one form tag and I get the same results with the exception that I only get the error message once. I'll attach the new file (same name) again.

Thanks,
Wyn

Your file field setting in the Server Behavior is set to "upload", but the actual field name is "fileField"... you need to edit the server behavior and choose the correct name from the list to match the file upload field name.

Ray,

I know we went through this before and I was able to get it to work. I created a new file and attempted to recreate the page but now it does not work.

I don't see where I made a mistake. Can you take a quick look and see what I missed?

Thanks,

Add method="post" to your form.

Thanks Ray,

I had used your plugins to create the page. After getting your reply I deleted the cache file and the plugins worked as they normally would. It seems the cache file causes a lot of errors. I'll try to think of the cache file before I contact you again about anomalies like this.

Thanks,
