email not sending

email not sending

I have numerous 'emails being sent once various forms are submitted but I cannot get the email to send using an email that is a value binding from a recordset. I can only get the email to send if I use an email from the host. I have read other forum posts where Jason has said that some hosts only allow outgoing from emails on the server but I know I have had emails sent to addresses that aren't before.

Any pointers please!

There is no difference between sending an email from a Recordset or setting the value manually. It may be that you aren't filtering the recordset properly on the page, but I'd have to see it to try to figure it out. It has nothing to do with simply using a recordset.
