SecurityAssist cookies

SecurityAssist cookies

When login into secure pages on our website, our CEO has his username and password automatically in the login. Is SecurityAssist using cookies? Anyways, he must have the "Remember me" box checked. Well the next question is if suddenly his user name and password are missing, is there a way for the site to auto-re-generate/fill in?

I seem to remember that if you set the cookie expiration to -1 it would never expire. You could also just make it a very long time in the future. The 30 at the end of that calculation is the number of days. You could up that to 3000 and effectively it wouldn't expire.

I just tried adjusting the time to "time()+(60*60*24*365*20), " figuring that if I change the 30 days to 365 and then ad 20 years.

I'm trying to set up a Premium Support Ticket ($99), but have not heard back from anyone.

So outside of Cookies, what can we do to ensure the CEO never again has to enter his user name and password?

Cookies is the only way to hold onto data across sessions.

Another option might be to automatically login based on his IP address if it is unique and doesn't change... or you could give him a "special" url that bypasses login.
