Referring URL redirect on insert record behavior?

Referring URL redirect on insert record behavior?

I'd like my insert record to redirect to the referring url, but when I'm not sure how to do it without killing the mysqli plugins ability to see the insert record query. Currently I've got a hidden input in my form with a value of

value="<?php echo $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']; ?>"

I'm editing the plugins redirect to be

$InsertGoTo = (!empty($_POST['referring_url'])?$_POST['referring_url']:'index.php');

This functions correctly in the browser, but the plugin no longer recognizes the server behavior in dreamweaver, so I can't edit it without changing it back to its original redirect.

What is the proper way to redirect to the referring url using the plugin?

It needs to start and end with a double quote... so this will work:

$InsertGoTo = "". (!empty($_POST['referring_url'])?$_POST['referring_url']:'index.php')  ."";
