Dreamweaver freezes/crashes on testing recordset

Hello, I am brand new to these products and have very recently purchased Data Bridge and MYSQLi - I am quite confused enough with the lack of a clear path for learning the software other than many outcome-specific mini tutorials. What's not helping me is that Dreamweaver keeps crashing whenever I try to use MYSQLi extension. Here what causes the crash - and yes, it's repeatable....

1. After setting up my site and server and then creating a mysqli DB connection I then attempt to create a recordset exactly according to the tutorial. (see image attachment 1)

2. I then try to create a filter (as you can see in the screenshot) but when I hit the TEST button I get a MYSQL Error #1064 and then the entire DW app freezes and I have to force quit it.

I have uninstalled all other extensions as a precaution and uninstalled and reinstalled Data Bridge and the MYSQLi extensions and the problem still remains.

I am using Dreamweaver CC 2014 (Creative Cloud subscriber) on Mac Yosemite. Can anybody offer any advice please. Also, if anybody could point me in the direction of a good workflow for the tutorials I would prefer that over the pick-and-mix approach. My only aim si to build non-ecommerce dynamic sites.

I've updated the MySQLi Server Behaviors to prevent this error. Please reinstall and you should be able to test your recordset without errors. It appears there is a bug in DW 2014 that causes it to freeze when there is an error in your SQL syntax, and a bug in our extension that case causing an error whenever you use a "contains" filter. I fixed our bug so that it won't error in that case, but if there is an error it will still freeze since that seems to be a DW bug I can't fix... but technically shouldn't happen when using the simple recordset since the interface should prevent bad queries from being written.
