Wizard not available in Dreamweaver

I have installed both Web Assist and the Cookies Toolkit. I have then opened Dreamweaver and clicked the Install tab, Web Assist and then Security Assist and the Wizard is grayed out and can not be opened.

What am I doing wrong?

In order to use SecurityAssist in a Dreamweaver site you must make sure the following has been done:

1. Create a site in Dreamweaver including the local info and testing server.
2. For the testing server you will need to specify the server model or language you will be working in. You will also need to have the access portion specified.
3. Open up a page that matches the server model you choose for the testing server and save this page to the site.
4. With the page open you can use the SecurityAssist server behavior.

Still working on first time install

As you can see, this is very new to me.

As I was saying, Security Assist activation box has not been found, only the cookies toolkit.

I have a Web page set up and hosted on a site. I attempted to set up the Test Server but had a bad result in that I lost my site connection. I have since restore it.

I am using a basic Dreamweaver site and some Flash pages. I do not know what server model or language to choose. Flash uses simple action script.

Where do I go from here to get this up and running. I have prepared a spreadsheet for the IDs as required.

Thank you,

BW

Your best bet would be to use PHP as your server language.

on the Dreamweaver Simulations tab of the training Resources page, see the "Setting up your site for dynamic development" Tutorial.
resources.php

You will also want to look into the Web development - Before you begin tutorial:

Still looking for SecurityAssist wizard

I have installed the two extentions - securityassist and cookiestoolkit.
I have installed mysql and set it up according to instructions.

But now when I am in Dreamweaver, and I go to Insert per instructions, go to dropdown WebAssist and select SecurityAssisst all choices are grayed out: Wizard, Authentic User, Page Access, Show Region and Email Password. This prevents me from utilizling the Wizard in order to get started using the product.

I can not find a troubleshooting reference to this problem. What have I left out?

Thank you,

BW

Either you have not defined a dynamic site, or you do not have a dynamic page open.
