Confirm checkout clears cart and redirects to cart.php

eCart 5

I'm getting sporadic reports of users, after entering info on the confirm page, are returned to the cart.php page with an empty cart. I haven't been able to replicate it, but one of my testers can do it consistently. Weirdly, seems only to happen in Chrome. I've had her restart the browser and clear the cache. No love.

I've attached my cart, checkout and confirm pages. Can you take a look?

Thanks - Joe

What is the web site url? My guess is that they are coming to the page with http://www.yourwebsite.com and being redirected to https://yourwebsite.com or vice versa. Since it is technically a different session depending on whether you have the www or not, the cart is cleared and they get redirected.

It has nothing to do with the pages themselves... the solution is to use your .htaccess file to either force it to always or never use www.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

The address is http://muirheadfoods.com. That sounds likely. I tend to never use www but I know others do, including, I think, my tester. I found some code I'm using and testing now. I'll let you know if that solves the problem.

Thanks - Joe
