Form validation not working properly

I have several pages on our site which have forms, most of which were created using the standard DataAssist pages. All of them seem to have lost the default server validation settings i.e. using the Bloom CSS and the Validation Show If fields don't work. I still get the default jQuery validation pop-up (the yellow exclamation mark with "please fill out this field") but my client doesn't even get that and is able to submit blank forms. Any idea what might be wrong?

There are a number of problems with your forms that I am seeing.

1) Confilcting Jquery versions. you are adding jQuery near the top of the page:

<script type='text/javascript' src='js/jquery.mobile.customized.min.js'></script>

form builder jQuery validation is trying to add it again:

<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1/jquery-ui.min.js"></script>

Form builder needs to have the newer version being pulled from the google server to work properly.

2) You are removing script tags.

this tag for the goole jQuery has been removed:
<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js"></script>

and you have also removed the script for the progress bar:
<script src="webassist/progress_bar/jquery-blockui-formprocessing.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

between the removed scripts and the conflicting scripts it is causing the validation errors not to show.

Thanks Jason. I created a fresh form using DataAssist so that I could take the correct versions of jQuery from the new page. After some testing, I discovered that there was also a problem with the z-index of the validation prompt (.Bloom_wrapper) - it was working but it was hidden behind the background image on the container div. I added a z-index of 10000 to .Bloom_wrapper and hey presto, it works!
