when a search is done, it is saved to a session, this is so that pagination can work properly.

you can add a reset results link to the page to clear the previous session, See this page for details on resetting the search results:

so it has to be made manually. by clicking.

i set up everything but bit confused here:
my page is: brokerage.php
which is here: http://www.eta-logistics.com/brokerage.php

now the session is:
WADbSearch1_brokerage_results

so to clear it must be : <a href="brokerage.php?reset=true">Clear Search</a>

or from above link given <a href="productsResults.cfm?reset=true">Clear Search</a>
for
on the results page add a link to clear the search passing the reset qurystring variable:
<a href="productsResults.cfm?reset=true">Clear Search</a>

in which my case will be : <a href="brokerage_results.cfm?reset=true">Clear Search</a>

So which one should be used.
when i used <a href="brokerage_results.cfm?reset=true">Clear Search</a>
page seems to break.

when i use this : <a href="brokerage.php?reset=true">Clear Search</a>

page reload but all results still not shown. so when i refresh all results are shown.

where m i wrong?

is this is the way then its good to have two different pages for it. one search page & another results page rather than everything in one page.

yes, you can have the search and results page be separate.

just make sure the search form action is to go to the results page.
