Latest install broke

Removed DA.
Installed latest DA. Series of error messages (line 363, line 2110 ... settings pages no properties.
Did the usual .dat and work space troubleshooting tricks.

Removed, reinstalled.
New error message "error in uiInitialize..no properties.

When I ignored warnings, it froze up and I had to do a force quit.

Did the usual dat removal etc. No luck.

Is the previous version available for now so I can finish working today?

try recreating the users configuration folder. this is the folder that contains the dat file:

Close DW, rename the configuration folder, then start DW to recreate it.

Next close DW again and open the extension manager, remove the extensions and install them again.

OK... did as instructed. It went back to the first set of error messages and when ignored, it selected the wrong table.

Question... was the update for DWC6? Maybe the update was just for CC? I am on C6
I found my older version. Do you advise installing it?

the update is for both CC and DW CS 6.

I have a hot project so I'm going to remove and reinstall previous version. Hopefully I can get it working.

nope... still same error message... repeat config rename steps? It's froze up.

Thanks... I can't do a phone consult tonight. I did new config and got DA to load. It's not seeing tables yet, but that is a usual issue. Still fiddlin' with it.

I'll post back if I can get the older version to work.

Older version is now working so I can finish project. Thanks for patience with my questions.
