I had to reset preferences - no extensions

Do to load error I had to reset my preferences in Dreamweaver CC (command + Option & Shift. Now none of my Webassist behaviors or the Depreciated Panel are showing! I Went to Extension manager fro this version and unchcked and re checked the extension and get the following error message (see attachment).
Question: how do I get the server behaviors, database and Webassist to show again?

locate the users configuration folder, see this page for details:

rename the configuration folder, then restart DW to recreate it.

now close dw, and open the extension manager. in the extension manager, remove the extension then reinstall them.

after installing them, when you open DW, it should launch the WebAssist installer to complete the installation. make sure to restart DW after the WebAssist installer completes.

DId as you suggested and have the behaviors but when I open a blank PHP file and select a DataAssist Pages wizard or eh Security pages wizard, nothing happens. Just a blinking cursor. and then the attached error message

This morning I didn't get the error. Still would like to know why I was getting it!

reset the workspace layout:
go to Window -> Work Space layout -> Reset '<your layout name>'

Then close Dreamweaver and Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

On a new page I can't get teh Server Behaviors panel to expand to add a recordset despite putting the cursor in the body, head or above.

I don't follow, can you provide some additional details please, or perhaps a screen shot.

Even on a new php page when I click the + in the Server Behaviors panel it does not expand to allow me to access any server behaviors. I click the + botton and nothing happens.

what do you see if you open the bindings panel?

for the server behaviors and bindings to work correctly, you will need to have a testing server defined in your site settings. Have you defined a testing server?

is the PH{P file that is open saved to the site with the testing server set up?
