DW CC 2014.1 64 crashes when trying to add content to forms

Greetings I have tried this many times, and updated the depreciated server, recreated the cache, rebooted the computer, and DW will crash when I am adding or moving field items.

So I thought I would uninstall and then re install the extensions, and I got the message in the attached screen shot. What do you recommend?

Close DW

locate the users configuration folder, this is the folder that contains the DW Cache file, and rename it.

open DW to recreate the folder , then close it again

open the extension manager, is the extension manager, remove the extensions, then reinstall them.

make sure to download the latest version available from the download center.

After installing the extensions in the extension manager, when you open DW, it should launch the webAssist installer to complete the installation.

If the WA Installer does not open automatically, open a php file to force it to run. make sure to restart DW after the WA Installer completes.

I tried this and have some new information

I tried the steps above the first time I tried to modify the form and it crashed again. So I redid everything again and then I inserted a form with no changes successfully. I then tried to modify the form contents and when I tried to preview the changes DW crashed again. I am using Appointment request, Sharp Default.

So, I edited the form created and just changed a field display name, then tried to save the design and again it crashed. perhaps it has siomething to do with access rights. I am running Win & in 64 bit. I will try to run DW as an admin.

Nope, I started DW as an ADMIN and trying to change the form produced the same result. Okay over to you Jason, what's next?

Tried to update using the Preset manager and DW crashed again.

We will have a new build of Data Bridge available next week that should address this issue. I will update this thread when it is available.

An update to Data Bridge 1.2.2 was released yesterday that should fix the crashing issue.

Make use to uninstall the previous version from the extension manager before installing the update.
