Email Attachments

Hello Jason

I have tried with this one but I am struggling - so nearly there though.
I am simply trying to upload a file from a form, store it on the server, insert the path into the database and attach it to an email, all from the same page.

The attached couple of pages are the result.

WITHOUT an attachment, emails are sent just fine.
WITH an attachment, the file uploads fine, the database is updated fine, the path is fine to download the file from the resulting page BUT emails aren't sent - no errors are shown, even with the error reporting on as you can see.
I have also read and implemented your comment on not being able to use the submitted file field is the file is stored on the server, and I have used the two side-by-side dynamic values as you suggested here : http://www.webassist.com/forums/posts.php?id=28227 - it may have something to do with this?

Would be very grateful if you can shed any light on this.

Many thanks as always

"Do you have any pointers from the files I sent you?"

you didn't attach any files to your initial message.

weither i need to access the files on the server, or you need to attach them to your message. one way or another, I need to see the code in order to have any idea what might be wrong.

Jason

Sorry about that - I thought that I had attached my files - rookie mistake!
However, I had a good look at this issue this morning and I discovered that it was simply the server PEAR installation that hadn't got the MIME module installed.
Apologies for wasting your time, but will leave this in the forum in case it crops up for anyone else.

Thanks as always for the support.
