Split Repeating Field of Records

I have a repeating field of records. We list 10 per page. Is there a way to split the repeating field table so it looks like this:

Record 1
Record 2
Record 3
Record 4
Record 5
Web banner ad
Record 6
Record 7
Record 8
Record 9
Record 10

you would need to add code for a counter within the repeat.

so for example, the default repeat would look like:

<?php do { ?>
<td><?php echo $row_RecordsetName['columnName']; ?></td>
<?php } while ($row_RecordsetName = mysql_fetch_assoc($RecordsetName)); ?>

the code with the counter to show the banner, would look like:

<?php $BannerCounter = 0; ?>
<?php do { ?>
<?php if($BannerCounter == 5) { ?>
<td>Show banner</td>
<?php } else { ?>
<?php echo $row_RecordsetName['columnName']; ?>
<?php } ?>
<?php $BannerCounter++; ?>
<?php } while ($row_RecordsetName = mysql_fetch_assoc($RecordsetName)); ?>
