Connection Error MySQL database

Just bought the latest version of Bridge to use DataAssist, but having issues connecting to database through the latest Dreamweaver CC 2014. The credentials are correct and IP is white listed. I also have no issues connecting with the same credentials via Navicat (alternative to phpAdmin) from same laptop. I have been studying many similar issues on this forum and managed to re-introduce the disabled database extension from Adobe under Window. Nevertheless, I keep getting a MySQL error #1045 Access denied !
Any ideas (see attachment) ?

your host should have access to the MySQL server from the control using phpMyAdmin.

when you connect to the database using phpMyAmin, it will show the host name in the upper left hand corner, use that host name in the database connection.

Also, double check the testing server settings in your site definition, since you are trying to connect to the remote database, make sure the testing server settings are set to connect to the remote server through FTP and that the web URL is set correctly.

Keep in mind that DW connects to the database by uploading a file to the testing server and using the web URL in the testing server settings to access that file. so the connection is really being made through the testing server and the results then sent back to DW.

Hi Jason,
Thank you for your feedback!
I checked phpMyAdmin as suggested and found "localhost" and replaced it with that, but still get Access Denied. Also checked server settings and there I get a successful connection! Trying to connect again via DataAssist I still get: no tables found, please check your connection and when checking again Access Denied!
Made print screens of all for you to see ...
Thanks,
Robert

Thanks for your help! I have now installed WampServer on my laptop and re-did all locally and was able to get it working.

We will have a new build of Data Bridge available next week that should address this issue. I will update this thread when it is available.
