WebAssist Uninstaller has locked me out of Dreamweaver

Try as I might, I can't even do the simplest task in Dreamweaver. Every time I start DWVR, I get a slew of error message about WA files, etc. And as soon as I open a page -- or create a new blank page -- the Uninstaller floater appears (with heading: "Uninstalling: Data Bridge"), gets to Step 2, and then hangs. I've uninstalled/removed all the WA extensions (as well as a number of other 3rd party extensions), as I REALLY need to edit a few pages for a client (and they aren't using any of the extensions functionalities), but this WA Uninstaller comes up every time.
I've deleted the DWVR cache file, restarted the computer, and searched the forums to no avail.
Needless to say, I'm extremely frustrated.
Please advise (and email me if you possibly can, as I want to know as soon as you have any info).

Try recreating the Users configuration. that is the configuration folder that contains the dat file.

close DW, locate the users configuration folder and rename it to configuration_bak.

when you open DW, it will be recreated.

you will need to reinstall extensions after doing this.

Close DW, open the extension manager, remove the extensions, then install them again.

When installing the WebAssist Extensions, make sure you have the most recent versions.

Thanks Jason. I was able to start DWVR. Of course, now I'm at ground zero with ALL extensions, but that's a good way to get the job done that I need to do now.

As for the future of the WA extensions, I will learn when the time for re-loading comes.

(BTW, even though I clicked the 'Email me with all replies to this thread' when I posted, I didn't see any email. Would it take more than 3 hours for me to be notified?)
