ECart 6.1.0

I have tried to install ECart 6.1.0 and it is taking forever. The Abobe Extension Manager worked
almost instantly when installing Data Bridge and Design Extender, but fails to do so with ECart.
I have deleted the WinFileCache file (indeed I deleted the whole configuration folder - but to no
avail). I should add that the blue progress line is fully to the right hand side almost instantly. It is
as though the extension has got stuck when being installed.

Also I note that owners of ECart 6 have access to the webinar on how to use it. My downloads
have access as a "half price" offer. Why does it not offer me free access as suggested on your
web site?

Try restarting the computer then installing again. it may appear to be stalled, but still installing. if you are on Windows, you can go to the Task Manager (ctrl+alt+del) in the list of tasks look at the extension manager, if the memory reading keeps changing it is still working.


the eCart webinar is available from the eCart download page, go to the eCart download page and scroll to the webinars section.

Sounds like the configuration folder has become corrupted.

locate the users configuration folder, for details, see the common installation issues thread:

once you locate the configuration folder, rename it to configuration_back.

then open DW to recreate the configuration folder. close DW and open the extension manager, remove the extensions fro the extension manager, then install then again.
