How can I get data partially completed in a form in the form again after disapproval by validation, at an insert record page. In stead of empty the form fields every time.

in the bindings panel, is a binding group titled Validated Entries, this is created by the Server Validation behavior to save the values in the form when it fails validation.

Bind the form elements initial value to the corresponding Validated entries binding.

Ok.
But how is it possible that not all the form fields are in this list?

But I discovered that I can copy and name them myself, it works. Only there is a dropdown list also, how can do I this?

some of the form elements must have non-standard types such as email or password. change the type to text to use the validated entries, then you can change the type back.

for select lists, click he dynamic button in the properties inspector, and use the Select Value Equal to option.

When I use the Select Value Equal to option, I get an Javascript error.

attached is an updated copy of the DynamicSelectList.js file that should fix the error so you don't need to use a recordset in the select list.

locate the users configuration folder, for details, see this page:

and paste the DynamicSelectList.js attached to this message over the one in that location.

for the Memo field, the code looks right, where it is not inserting t o he DB and not retaining a value, I would think it is outside the closing form tag.

If you use Dynamic Connections to create the DB Connection, it allows you to set both the Local and remote connection info in the same connection file.
