Is it possible to have two different "products_detail" pages (with a different file name page url)?

Is it possible to have two different "products_detail" pages (with a different file name page url)?

I'm running a special promotion and want to have a different looking page (in essence a "landing page") for it that looks different than my regular page.dwt.php page. Is that possible?

What I'd like to do is duplicate the page.dwt.php page, rename it, and modify it. Then send customers to the new page while the regular template stays in place. I'm assuming I'd have to do something in the .htaccess file to accomplish this as well.

Thanks for your help.

This is posible to do, but is not supported.

you would need to duplicate and rename the template as you say, and also duplicate the products_detail page, and edit the code so that it uses the new template. that edit will need to be done outside of Dreamweaver.

if you need help in setting this up, we can help through a premiere support appointment:

Thanks, Jason.

So I could do that so that both templates are usable? I still want to use the original products_detail page -- I just want this other one for specials.

Is it possible to do the premiere support today? If not, when is the earliest it could be scheduled?

Yes, it would be possible to use both templates.

Ray does the premiere support appointments, I am not sure what his availability is.

if you fill out the support request it will be sent to him and he will contact you to set up the time for the appointment.

in the products_detail_clean.php file, i edited the line:
$WADetails = new WA_Include('webassist/plugins/catalog/details.php');

to:
$WADetails = new WA_Include('webassist/plugins/catalog/details_clean.php');

then copied the webassist/plugins/catalog/details.php as details_clean.php and in that file edited the image width:
$imgWidth = 200;

to:
$imgWidth = 600;
