currency switch

hi guys

I'm due to start building a shopping cart website using eCart and PayPal.

It will need to have a simple currency switching option - between US Dollars and UK Pounds, similar to the one on this site:

http://www.davidhayward.com/product_details.php?id=94&pc=2

Is this easy to implement ?... if so can you give me some pointers please

thanks very much for your help

Easy is a relative term.

you would need to saved the currency selection as a session variable then edit the code in the eCart object and the code to pass the transaction to the gateway to use the selected currency.

We could help you implement this in a premier support appointment:

thanks Jason - presumably it would make sense to have the site built and ready, just without this functionality ?

Yes, that is correct.

Jason - one more thing before I start building the site: There will be an exchange rate field (updatable via the CMS) which will determine the cost between UK and US - presumably this is ok ?

thank again

Yes, that should be fine.
