Contact Form issue

Hi Jason

I've been asked to add a couple of fields on the contact page for a site in the UK and wondered if you could help please?

(This is a private request - so the details are hidden).

Thanks
Paul

Hand coding..

Hi Jason

If I hand code anything on the contact page, will the Wizard not work by trying to reset things, or will it absorb the hand edits and keep them?

Do hand edits break the use of the Wizard?

Regards
Paul

Hand edits don't necessarily break the wizard, but they will be overwritten if you then use the wizard to make other edits.

Yup

Thanks Jason. That's what I thought might happen.

The page should redirect to a thank you page after sending the email.

edit the Universal Email behavior, and change the go to page to go to a thank you page.

...not working just yet

Hi Jason

I added that email server behavior, but unfortunately it's not flagging up the Thanks! page just yet which I set as a GoTo page once the Submit button had been clicked.

?invalid=true means that the server validation is failing, the email won't get set if validation fails.

to determine which validation is failing edit:

PostResult($WAFV_Redirect,$WAFV_Errors,"contactus");

to:

die($WAFV_Errors);
PostResult($WAFV_Redirect,$WAFV_Errors,"contactus");

this will show a comma separated list of numbers indicating the failed validations. using that I can tell which validation is failing.

feedback..

It comes up with: ,6

Does this tell you in which tabbed menu item there is a problem?
